Katie Treggiden is an author, journalist, speaker and strategist who helps design-led companies and purpose-driven founders talk about sustainability with clarity, credibility and confidence. With over 25 years' experience in comms, marketing strategy and journalism, and a specialism in circular design and regenerative leadership built through a Master's at the University of Oxford and the BioLeadership Fellowship, she works with global brands and designer-founders to develop sustainable communications strategies that avoid both greenwashing and greenhushing. She's the author of six books, including her latest, Broken: Mending and Repair in a Throwaway World, and hosts the podcast Spill the (Green) Tea alongside Malin Cunningham, where she interviews leaders at the intersection of sustainability, comms and trust. Beyond her writing and strategy work, Katie is a regular contributor to titles such as Elle Decoration, Dezeen, The Guardian Magazine and Monocle24, and delivers keynotes and chairs panels at major design events including Milan Design Week, Stockholm Furniture Fair, Clerkenwell Design Week and the London Design Festival. She's a Design Council Expert, previously founded the online learning community Making Design Circular, and launched Fiera Magazine via a successful Kickstarter campaign. Her core offerings include a Credible Comms Audit, editing services, and executive coaching for founders and sustainability leads navigating how to communicate imperfect progress honestly - all rooted in her belief that better storytelling, not more data, is what the sustainability transition actually needs.
