Mags Walker is an experienced entrepreneur and marketing leader with a career spanning over two decades across finance, communications, branding, and retail. Starting her professional journey as a chartered accountant with PwC, she transitioned into marketing and rose to become Finance and then Marketing Director at a youth-focused agency, working with major brands and managing nationwide student communications. In 2006, she founded thefabl, a content marketing agency specializing in strategy, brand positioning, and storytelling for sectors such as foodservice, hospitality, retail, and leisure. Under her leadership, thefabl became the only Yorkshire-based member of the Content Marketing Association, recognized for creating engaging narratives that drive loyalty and customer engagement.
Alongside her work at thefabl, Mags is the founder and Creative Director of Toolally, an independent jewellery brand launched in 2015. Inspired by art, fashion, and architecture, Toolally quickly gained recognition for its bold, sustainable designs and international reach, with stockists across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Today, she continues to lead the creative vision while working closely with her son, who now manages the business. Balancing strategy, creativity, and sustainability, Mags has built a reputation for helping brands stand out, while also creating one of her own that embodies fearless design and timeless style.
