Oliver Pickup is an award-winning journalist, keynote speaker, moderator, and human-work-evolution storyteller with 20+ years of bylines across the Financial Times, The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, and the Wall Street Journal. He founded Pickup Media Limited in 2009, and has since evolved from sports and technology journalist into a sought-after speaker and moderator on AI, the future of work, and human-centred innovation - working with organisations including London Tech Week, Microsoft, The Economist, Ericsson, Sanofi, Informa, Raconteur, and Zellis. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), publishes the long-read monthly newsletter Go Flux Yourself, and produces the weekly video series Thank Flux it's Friday. In 2024 he co-founded Pickup_andWebb, a thought leadership consultancy, with branding specialist Cameron Webb.
