Tomás Penaguião is a seasoned venture capital professional with over eight years of experience at Bynd Venture Capital, where he became a Partner in 2022. Since joining in 2016, he has evaluated more than 10,000 projects and contributed to over 40 investments, focusing on pre-seed and seed-stage startups in Portugal and Spain. He is passionate about ventures in healthtech, foodtech, and climate tech that drive positive global impact. Before his VC career, Tomás gained experience in consulting, sales, and entrepreneurship, including founding EasySailing Portugal. He holds an MSc and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Tomás is actively involved in the startup ecosystem, frequently sharing insights and participating in industry events.
