“Founder of a multi-award-winning, gender neutral kidswear brand, angel investors backed”
Ria Morgan is the founder, designer, and CEO of The Little Blazer Company®, a multi-award-winning premium children’s fashion brand specialising in unique gender-neutral blazers.
Inspired by her daughters, Ria took a step back from work when her eldest was born with a physical difference and launched the brand to fill a gap in the market for colourful, characterful, and comfortable children’s blazers that celebrate individuality and self-expression.
All products are heirloom-quality pieces, designed and made end-to-end here in the United Kingdom, reflecting a commitment to British craftsmanship, longevity, and sustainability. Since launching, she has released two heirloom collections in the UK — including a highly regarded collaboration with Toolally Jewellery — and is now mapping out the next phase: evolving The Little Blazer Company into a full lifestyle brand and launch internationally.
Coming from a non-privileged background, it has always been important to Ria to create a brand that is a true champion of all personalities, differences, and backgrounds. From its inception, The Little Blazer Company has been built to give back to both local and global communities. The brand has partnered with organisations such as The King’s Trust and Freya Rose, collaborating with their most recent gala event, and has walked the runway in support of childhood cancer awareness with Golden Style during New York Fashion Week, demonstrating a commitment to social impact alongside commercial success.
Although The Little Blazer Company is still very much in its start-up phase, Ria has built it from the ground up into a brand with generational potential. With such a groundbreaking product and vision, the company is poised to become an iconic, timeless label, while providing Ria with invaluable insight into the realities of creating and scaling a luxury brand in a highly competitive market with no prior experience in retail or design.
Before founding The Little Blazer Company, Ria built a successful career in digital recruitment, serving as Head of Harvey Nash Digital, where she created and scaled the firm’s first digital practice, making it award winning while advised leading organisations on their digital recruitment strategies. Ria's further creative background in the arts further fuels her entrepreneurial approach, bridging commercial expertise and creative innovation.
Ria is an active member of several founder and entrepreneurial networks, including Buy Women Built, Female Founders Rise, and E-commerce Edge, where she connects with like-minded innovators and contributes to the wider startup community. She has a strong passion for innovation and thrives on brainstorming creative ideas, while also raising awareness of the funding challenges faced by female founders, particularly in the UK’s competitive fashion and startup landscape. Through her work and experiences, Ria hopes to inspire and empower the next generation of female founders.
